Mr. & Mrs. Bright: Philly Edition
Reader, I married him.
On June 1, 2019 it was an honor to officially be united in marriage with a truly special person, my HUSBAND, Joel Rice BRIGHT! #thisiswhatequalitylookslike
Getting ready together and walking into our ceremony together while all our friends and family sang “Enter, Rejoice, and Come In”.
Having so many loved ones participate in blessing our marriage.
Having a whole bunch of congregational singing as part of our ceremony.
Joel’s vows. “For all of time and space.”
Saying our vows over a piece of petrified wood as an oathing stone. (Yeah, it was weird and wonderful.)
I cried basically non stop all day and my makeup held up.
Joel’s friend Tim playing bagpipes for us.
The incredible food all. day. long. I honestly can’t rave about Kerri and the team at Talula’s enough. They were absolutely phenomenal.
Arguably my most brilliant idea since deciding to marry Joel: USING A QR CODE FOR THE SEATING CHART. I was able to change it up until the night before and honestly just loved being able to incorporate technology into our brunch.
